St. Clouds in Madrona. 5-6:30pm weekdays 1/2 price happy hour. Live music Thurs thru Monday. Bar and light dinner weekdays till 12 midnight and weekends till 2am. 1131 34th Ave 726-1522.

Columbia City Alehouse A grand little pub with terrific food. Happy hour (no details yet). Not much fried on the menu.. so try the gumbo or turkey burger! Stellar daily specials and extensive microbrew selection. Sister pubs are Hilltop and Greenwood's 74th Street alehouse(s). Plenty of parking in back.. 4914 Rainier Ave So. 723-5123. Columbia City.

Lottie Motts (Lotties Lounge now) Columbia City. 4-7pm everyday w/ cheap apps. Extensive selection of bottled brews. Columbia City's main pub turned cafe.. Food is great, service is friendly. City Search says they offer the best espresso around and give a 'highly recommended' listing to them. 4900 Rainier Ave So. 725-0519. Columbia City.
